  2. Wrap each of the 4 pieces of corn with a damp paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate.
  3. Microwave the corn on high for 3-6 minutes (3-4 minutes for 2 ears).
  4. Allow to stand for a few minutes before removing the towels and serving.

How To Shuck Corn After Microwaving?

After cooking corn on the cob with the husk on, carefully remove the corn from the microwave with tongs or a pot holder. Place the ear of corn onto a cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut off the stalk end of the cooked corn, then grasp the husk with the pot holder and pull it to remove it.

How Long To Microwave Corn On The Cob?

For 4 ears of corn, you will want to microwave corn for about 6 minutes. Add 1-2 minutes to the cooking time for each additional cob. 

Can I Microwave More Than One Ear of Corn?

Yes! Add 1-2 additional minutes to the cooking time for each ear of corn. For more than 8 ears of corn, cook these in smaller batches. 

Can I Microwave Corn Without the Husks?

Yes! If you prefer to shuck the corn before cooking, you will want to wrap each piece with a wet paper towel before you microwave them. You can reduce the cooking time slightly when cooking without the husks.
