A Baseball Gloves is the ultimate defensive weapon of a Baseball Player and once a player and a glove have bonded….don’t get between them. A mild mannered guy turns into a junk yard dog and you’re between him and his food dish.

This may be a bit of an overstatement, but I remember my first baseball glove and I’d bet the majority of Major League Players remember their first one.

In my day there were only a few glove manufacturers. Spaulding, the first glove maker, Rawlings and Wilson. Knowing those were ancient times I thought I’d do a review of current day manufacturers and pass along any insight or information I picked up.

I was shocked when I saw how many Baseball manufacturers there are today. I knew there’d be more, but….. Unfortunately I can Not review each glove as I would like to.

I might draw special attention to Katz Gloves, who I found to be fascinating in concept. This firm does not make gloves, but rather specializes in refurbishing Baseball Gloves.
